Is it just me or does it seem like there are actually fewer days in February than the rest of the months?
Corny jokes aside, it is hard to believe that we are already through two months of 2011.
We are 2/3rds of the way through the first quarter, so I thought I would offer a little encouragement (or at least a way to encourage yourself) to push through this last month and knock your goals out of the park.
“I gave myself words of encouragement as I trained, focusing on where I needed to be and not where I was at. I believe that positive input puts out positive result.” – Florence “Flo-Jo” Griffith Joyner, a five-time Olympic Medalist
I know all of us have heard of “garbage in, garbage out” when it comes to using a computer or a piece of software, but have you ever thought of that in relation to yourself and your mind set?
I think the quote above from Florence Griffith Joyner says it well “I believe that positive input puts out positive result”.
So, I thought I would paint a picture of the positve results from our quarterly goals:
At the end of the quarter we will have estabilished a framework from which TruMethods and the concepts therein will transform our business. We will look back on this in 2 years and say “wow, that was a key decision/quarter”.
Meeting our MRR goal will be announced at our QBR and you will see a big smile grow on the face of all those on the sales team and hear a only half-kidding groan from the service teams.
We will hear the announced NPS score and take pride in the fact that each one of us had a hand in making that number what it is.
We will talk about the cloud and our direction and will be even more confident that as the future unfolds in IT, not only will Mavidea be a part of it, we will be a leader in helping small businesses use new technology to drive business results.
Picture yourself reaching your goals. Focus not on where you are today, but where you will be when you meet your goals. Keep the positive self talk going all the time.
Make it a great day. I know I will.
