I have been thinking about this for a while. Here at Mavidea, we are going to fail at certain things along the way to achieving our ultimate goal. I am going to fail to meet some personal objective that I set for myself, and I am 98 ¾% sure you will fail at some point this year too.
The key is how you approach the failures that are inevitable in life. It is all about your attitude.
Do you turn those stumbling blocks into stepping stones? I think I actually liked that analogy of his the best. Take the failures and lessons of life and learn and grow from them. Not only are they not the end of the world, they are something to look forward to. Without these stepping stones/fertilizer, you won’t grow.
Fear of failure. How many of us are not truly pushing ourselves towards excellence because of our fear of failure? We all need to challenge ourselves to go beyond the ordinary things we know we are capable of into the realm of the extraordinary. I know that each of you are capable of amazing things if you push yourself and don’t let the fear of failure stop you from doing your best.
Another good thought from the video. Failure is an event, not a person. Internalize that one. Let it be your mantra any time you fall short. Any failure is not the end. It is a chance for growth and renewal.
