My name is Jamie Mathy and I serve as the Chief Technology Officer for Mavidea Technology Group, LLC. Mavidea provides high-quality, out-sourced IT support and Internet marketing development for businesses all over the world.
I feel that one of the most important aspects of Mavidea services to clients is our focus on technology education. We have always been really good at breaking down the sometimes ridiculously complex world of computer technology into terms and ideas that customers can understand. Many times I’ve heard people say “I don’t speak computer / geek” as if computers and technology are another language. If that is the case, think of Mavidea as your translators.
As part of that education commitment, one of my most important job functions at Mavidea is to serve as the virtual Chief Technology Officer for Mavidea clients. It is my job to keep up with what is changing in the world of technology and how it could possibly affect the ways we do business and live with technology. That is going to be the focus in this blog section. My idea is that some of my blogs will be instructional, some will talk about emerging technologies, some will reference business needs that we have seen solved, and occasionally some will just be for fun.
