First, I have to say thanks to Chris, Julie and Jason for being the guest emailers while I was out of town. The emails you guys sent were ridiculously good. I enjoyed every one.
Since I was at our HTG meetings in Phoenix this week, I thought I would share some of the positives from those meetings as my positive thoughts for the day.
First and foremost, we have a truly remarkable HTG group. Every time I go, I am reminded of how great everyone is and how much value they add to Mavidea. It really makes a difference here at Mavidea and we are a better company for it. A special thanks to anyone here who has participate in any of the sub groups or responding to any of the tech emails that float around.
I left convinced (again) that this Go Giver stuff is for real. Every time I go to another meeting, I get better at preparing myself to give to others in the group. And as I get better at preparing and sharing with the group, I get more. Every time. There is something absolutely fundamental about this concept. The way to get more value in life is by giving more.
Third, I left 100% certain that we are on the right track. I left convinced that Mavidea is going to be a success and that we can achieve any goal we set for ourselves. I received many encouraging thoughts from the group and they seem to agree. Mavidea is the coolest.
The reason I know this to be true? We have THE BEST staff out of all the companies (no offense to the other HTG’ers). Seriously, you guys are awesome. We are doing amazing things and meeting our goals not because Jake is great, but because you are. You guys are in first place in my book and the second place team looks a little winded while you guys are taking it up a notch.
Last, but certainly not least, every time I am away for a couple days I am reminded that I also have the THE BEST family. Meaghan and the girls are the best. While it is great being with the HTG crew for a couple of days, it is even better to be home with my girls.
Glad to be back. Hope everyone is having a great week (I know I am).
